Acrylic Display Cases (removable covers)
Our Materials
The cases are hand-polished and have moulded bases of either solid oak, ash, mahogany, yew or pine.
Display cases use top-grade, clear acrylic, which has a greater clarity than glass and will not craze or yellow in the sunlight due to being UV-stabilized; This helps to preserve the contents and protect them from fading. The thickness of the acrylic is determined by the size of the case.
Internal Base Finish
The interior of the base can be finished in quality jeweller's suede - with a choice of colours: light blue, royal blue, bottle green, scarlet, black, light grey (samples are available on request).
Matching veneer can be used (matched to the solid wood base frame).
Should you wish to finish the base yourself, for a diorama or rail track etc, the base can be left plain.
There is also the option of having a mirrored base, enabling you to view the underside of the contents.
